SeaDoc Society Education Coordinator
Orcas Island, WA
SeaDoc Society is a flagship program of the UC Davis One Health Institute's Wildlife Health Center. We work to ensure the health of wildlife and their ecosystems throughout the Salish Sea. This work has a deep purpose in building environmental equity for people disproportionately affected by ecosystem degradation, air and water pollution, and climate change. SeaDoc Education works with schools and education programs to raise every one of the next generation with an understanding of science, respect for traditional ecological knowledge, and a solid ocean ethic to promote sustainable communities. Talk to Mira, Janice, and Jess about getting our Salish Sea books, curriculum, and/or online marine science club resources to your program, serving marginalized student populations.
