Sensory Fitness
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
After teaching special education for 13 years as both a classroom and adaptive PE teacher, I became an occupational therapy assistant specializing in sensory integration therapy. Combing my years of experience as a fitness trainer and coach I am bringing my experience back into the classroom and into homes to teach the importance of our sensory systems and the power of movement in regulation, function, and learning.
It is my mission to provide educators, parents, and other health professionals a deeper understanding of sensory processing and how it affects all behavior, how to create a sensory friendly environment, implement sensory strategies, and the importance of movement in the classroom and at home.
